Collective Soul Project nearing completion - Ed Roland and Ross Childress were up at bopnique to record vocals and guitars on 12 songs for Collective Soul's upcoming fifth Atlantic release. Presently titled "Blender", the record is being mixed by Bob St. John at Futura Productions Boston. The overdubbing process has been going on for about 7 weeks and is finally nearing completion. Anthony Resta and Ed Roland are producing the record, and Karyadi Sutedja is engineering.

Shawn Mullins news - Shawn's new record "Beneath the Velvet Sun" is being mixed by Chris Lord Alge and mastered by Bernie Grundman. Recently Shawn recorded 3 more songs in LA with producer Julian Raymond (Fastball). This brings the total of songs including b-sides up to 14 (about 11 or 12 will be on the record), 8 produced by Shawn and Anthony, 4 by Julian and Shawn. Nashville studio musician/ songwriter Mike Lawler co-wrote a couple of new songs with Shawn, Julian and Matthew Kahler. Really cool stuff. The record will be released in October 2000.
