Nick answers questionnaire
Much to our surprise, Nick answered and returned our questionnaire. Here it is!
Have you heard any of Warren's and/or John's solo material and if so, what do you think of it?
Yes both - I think they both sound like what they feel like inside.
Warren recently said that you can sing punk songs really well. Is there any chance we'll hear you sing either on the new album or on the next tour?
NO. With Duran Duran Simon is the singer and it's best kept that way.
Some of your songs have been quite neglected: will you ever play Secret Oktober live?
I suggested it for the last tour actually... Maybe next time... or??
Unfortunately David Bowie beat you to it, but given the choice, who would you rather play in a movie: Andy Warhol or Spock?
I don't think I could call it unfortunate - Andy is around 50 years old in the movie! But I shall look forward to seeing it.
Which colour would you never dye your hair?
Green, no... blue.
Do you read the fanzines you get given, and what is your overall impression of them?
Yes - I especially like them when Warren has to fill in a questionnaire.
And we also asked Nick if he had any artistic projects in the pipeline, whether he enjoys meeting fans, what he would like to see in a fanzine and if the other band members don't become irritated by the fact that Nick (and Simon) take so much longer to write their parts on an album compared to John and Warren...
